Old Business - Standing Motions to Approve / Deny
STANDING MOTION #1 - Motion for the continuance of HOA Covering Mulching, Hedge/Garden Maintenance in Public-Adjacent Property – The approximate cost per impacted property is estimated to be $150/yr. for fiscal year 2025. FOR or AGAINST the HOA paying to maintain street-lined shrubs, mulch and garden maintenance, including repair or replacement of shrubs and ornamental trees.
Motion to Modify (if above adopted, if not – this motion is moot) sections 6.4 & 8.2 of the HOA Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions FOR or AGAINST the modifications
STANDING MOTION #2 - Motion to Modify Notification and Communications Methods in Bylaws Articles III (three) and IV (four) to permit communications and notifications by email, meetings by video conferencing (i.e. Zoom or MS Teams), and in doing so, eliminate the need for vote by secret ballots (proxy votes would remain unchanged per the original governing documents). FOR or AGAINST the modifications
STANDING MOTION #3 - Motion to Modify Article V (five) of the HOA Bylaws to remove the requirement for an elections Nominating Committee FOR or AGAINST the modifications
STANDING MOTION #4 – To default to the MD Homeowners Association Act (MD Real Property Title 11b) when the Forge Reserve Homeowners Association’s governing documents and resolutions are in legal conflict with the active rules and regulations of the MD Homeowners Association Act. FOR or AGAINST the future modifications with a 20-day written notice to homeowners of impacted rules and regulations.
